Interesting Facts About Music and Its Impact

Music is one of the oldest inventions of man. They have a great impact on humans and each person reacts to the same music differently. The following are the fun facts Music:
  • Most Expensive Guitar. What would you pay for a badly scratched Guitar? I don't know about you, but an Italian collector paid $324,000 for this one. Reason? Its owned by Jimi Hendrix.
  • Disappearing Street Signs. Ever heard about the disappearing street signs? Here's a scoop. After the song "Penny Lane", became such a big hit, the actual street sign "Penny Lane" in Liverpool disappeared frequently. It has forced the town to paint the sign in the buildings instead of street sign.
  • Oldest Music Notation. The clay tablet from Mesopotamia ( now Iraq )dated 1800 BC has the oldest engraved music notation available to man.
  • First Video. "Billie Jean", the popular song by Michael Jackson is the first video to air on MTV by a black artist.
  • The Milking Cow. Do you want more milk from your Cow? No problemo. Make it listen to the soft music.
  • Long and Short. Japan is the proud nation of world's shortest national anthem with only four lines long. Want to know who has the longest. Its Greece. They have 158 verses long.
  • Strange but True. What's the association between the number 27 and music? Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, and Janis Joplin all died at the age of 27. Strange.

Lol! Great collection of facts! I never knew about the Billy Jean thing... But then, I never knew ANY of these things :P

But ofcourse, plants like soft music too! They grow better when exposed to soft music...

This makes me happy for the environment. Green solutions are finally going to appeal to everyone because the technology is getting more economically attractive. Solar energy, wind power, fuel cells, zap electric vehicles, EV hybrids – the future is much cleaner if we each just do our part.
