My predictions for 2007

  1. Blogging will peak in 2007: The craze for Blogs will be peaking sometime in 2007, according to Gartner. The report says that 200 million people stopped writing their blogs.
  2. Google OS: Google's strategy always been First lie, then accept. They have entered into Office Apps to kill Microsoft Office Suite. Now, there is a rumor going on that they will come up with Google OS. They will offer it for free, and make revenue from advertising, using their desktop apps.
  3. Mobile 2.0: The social networking aspects will be extended to the mobile industry as well. There are various opportunities. More mobile phones with larger screens and inexpensive smart phones are on the rise. This will help boost the convenient factor.
  4. SEM will be on the rise: More and more websites are being created to attract new customers. They need a quick and effective strategy to reach their customers. SEM companies will help in this process.
  5. Dining Trends: Health and Wellness is on the top of the menu: As if, its not there.
  6. Apple iPhone: iPhone will be launched which might be a look-alike gadget of iPod. But might not be able to capture the wider market due to competition.
  7. Bush to US Troops: More of you will die in 2007: The title says it all.
